Hello, my name is Michael Novoselov, and I am an experienced UX designer known for my innovative approach and dedication to creating intuitive user interfaces. With over a decade of experience in the tech industry, my portfolio includes projects across various fields, including e-commerce, fintech, cyber security and B2B platforms.
One day, the PwC team approached me. They had a massive amount of valuable data, but users found it challenging to understand these statistical figures. My task was to make this data comprehensible and accessible, as well as to improve and optimize their communication within the system by enhancing the user interface. The first step was research. I conducted interviews with key stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. Then, I analyzed existing methods of data presentation and identified their shortcomings. Next, I started developing the design system. I created unified components such as buttons, forms, and tables, and developed the company's style using brand colors and fonts. I documented all this for ease of use by developers and designers. The main challenge was data visualization. I identified key metrics and used modern tools like D3.js and Tableau to create interactive graphs and charts. I developed prototypes and tested them with users to ensure the interfaces were intuitive. Special attention was given to creating a user flow. I developed a sequence of actions and interfaces that helped users make informed decisions. I also created visualizations showing connections between innovative tools, technologies, market indicators, and real startups. Optimizing communication was another important task. I improved the user interface to simplify interaction and communication between users within the system. As a result, the project was successful. We were able to create convenient and intuitive interfaces that attracted more users and improved their interaction with the Denovo product. The interactive data visualizations allowed users to quickly and easily analyze information, leading to increased investments in the firm's clients. This project demonstrated the importance of proper data visualization and a well-thought-out design system to enhance the effectiveness and appeal of financial services, as well as to optimize internal communication.
